Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. – Psalm 90:12
What I have come to notice this year when I have reached certain obstacles in life, when my challenges seem too hard to face, I seem to neglect the fact that God is with me. I refuse His help. Even though I know I am better off with it, I still choose to avoid him like a sulking child.
And then when I finally give in, when I have nothing left to give, I call out His name. And then the process of coming back into His arms and alignment is steady and rewarding. I just hope I will not be so stubborn next time.
Now that I have found peace in Him the Bible has seem to come alive again. Things that once were insignificant seem to jump out and be so visible as a sore thumb. This particular verse in Psalms has seem to be so much more than a verse upon my most recent time reading Psalms.
God has His own timing, so for us to be impatient, or do things at the wrong time will result us in learning the hard way of being too impatient or not taking the necessary steps to move forward or reach a goal in life.
It is definitely a learning curve, but letting God into our lives and making us wiser in those moments will benefit us greatly. There is meaning in looking to the future and realising that we are not going to live on earth forever, so making every moment count, spreading love, joy and peace on a daily basis to as many people as possible is quintessential.
Have a great day!

Jesus is always with you even when you forget . Isn’t that great to know? Glad to hear you’re doing well. How are things in SA? Is the COVID bad where you live ? We are basically over it here in my area. But the politics is terrible. Our president is terrible. He’s over in Europe now doing who knows what. Pray for America and the world ! Freedom is under attack. Keep in touch.

Yes He always is ☺️ in SA we are entering what we call the third wave of the virus and going into flu season I guess it’s not surprising. Still need to wear masks and do the normal procedures to remain ‘safe’. Can’t wait to get rid of the masks…I’m sorry to hear about what is going on in America. I will definitely keep your family and the country in my prayers. Our freedom certainly is breached.
